Our Machu Picchu Train Tour for 2 days was designed for those who want to explore the marvel of Machu Picchu with no rush. This tour will allow you to enjoy every corner of the train ride, bus ride, and Machu Picchu itself. The big difference is that during this tour, you will visit Machu Picchu early in the morning before the crowds of the day tour arrive. Explore the picturesque Aguas Calientes town with the option to join the hot springs.

Yes, but we recommend hiring a guide to have a better understanding of this iconic site. A guide will explain the history and take you through the best spots in Machu Picchu. They will also lead you through the right circuit and be alert about what things are not allowed in this sacred site.

Yes, you can upgrade any of these services during this trip. Our hotel that we offer on this trip is 3 stars and can be upgraded to 4 or 5 stars. You also have the option to upgrade a returning train or modify the early schedule.

Machu Picchu citadel is located at 2,430 meters (7,772 feet) above sea level, and Huayna Picchu peak is 2,693 meters (8,835 feet) above sea level. Meanwhile, Machu Picchu mountain is 3,082 m (10,111 feet) above sea level.

Yes, however, you need to book a ticket in advance because there is a limit to how many people can hike every day; only 400 people are allowed to climb this mountain. It takes around 40 minutes to get to the summit and 30 minutes to get back.

Well, the hike to Sun Gate is not allowed for now; only Inca Train hikers can visit this famous site. The Inca Bridge is more accessible if you book the Inca Bridge + Circuit 1 or 2 with the scheduled entrance at 7 a.m. Or booking another ticket after exploring Machu Picchu.

Taking this tour, we will include the ticket, which will allow you to decide which circuit you want to take. We recommend taking circuits 1 or 2, which will allow you to explore more about Machu Picchu.

It will depend on which circuit you want to take or which circuit is printed on your ticket; the longest circuit takes about 3 hours, and the shortest circuit takes around 1,30 hours by walking around Machu Picchu.

Yes, you can, but for it, you need to buy two tickets with different schedules and book them in advance. If you have only one ticket, there is no option to enter Machu Picchu twice.

The busiest month to visit Machu Picchu is July, because everyone comes this month to see Machu Picchu during their summer break; however, you can visit from May to August with great views around.

We normally take 8–10 people during this tour as the maximum group size; however, if you have a group of more people and everyone knows each other, we can take bigger groups.

The weather in Machu Picchu and parts of the Andes is unpredictable, even if the weather forecast says it’s sunny. We can’t trust it. It is an impossible question for us to answer. Historically, April through September is the dry season; November through February is the rainy season; and March and October are bridge months—a mixture of both. But the clouds have not followed these rules in the last few years. Prepare for the sun and rain, no matter when you come. As far as temperatures go, that is consistent throughout the year.
