• Alternative Treks: Nowadays, there are different alternative treks that takes travelers to Aguas Calientes. Salkantay trek is one of the best alternative and combine mountains and jungle scenery. Other option is the Inca Jungle Trek with various adventure activities.

Machu Picchu entrance tickets are limited and should be purchased in advance, especially during the high season. • Inca Trail Trek: It takes 4 days hiking through the mountain traversing the Dead Woman's Pass 4.215 m. (14,828 ft). and arriving to Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate.
