Explore the incredible of the Andes through the Ausangate Trek

Ausangate offers some incredible treks around the area, hikes that can be done from two days to over six days exploring the most remote landscapes from the Andes. Nowadays known as the protector of the Andes, it hides stunning views surrounded by lakes, glaciers, and snowy mountains over 6, 000 meters high.

The peak of the Ausangate mountain is 6,385 meters, but we won’t go quite that high. On the Ausangate hikes, you will easily get a high altitude due to the pathway starting at 4,200 meters (13,779 ft) in all its versions. At Vidal Expeditions, we have designed different routes for everybody who loves to explore the Andes.

Our itineraries range from a 2-day tour visiting the highlights of Ausangate to the classic 5-day Ausangate trek, with the option to visit Rainbow Mountain on each route. Whatever route you take, you will always enjoy the breathtaking vistas that Ausangate has to offer.
